In May 2024, sitting by the sea, gazing at the sailboats in the distance, Helena reflected on her life's journey so far as a metaphor whispered in her ear.

She immediately gathered herself to compose and record the lyrics and melody that came to her—her first original work, "The One That I've Known," was already underway.

Two weeks later, a demo was created and in November, her application was selected by renowned multi-platinum songwriter, teacher, and creative
consultant Andrea Stolpe, to participate in a songwriting retreat in California.

Helena was part of the administration of the Montérégie Ambulance Technicians Cooperative (CETAM) in Quebec around the time of the passing of her dear friend Linda, who died of cancer.

While she handling invoice to be mailed, a detail unexpectedly caught her eye: the patient's name, then the street name... it was the invoice for Linda's last ambulance transportation to the hospital. At that same moment, a small voice whispered to her to listen to the radio immediately. She felt a shiver as she listened to "Pour une dernière fois" (For One Last Time) performed by Gerry Boulet.

The lyrics touched her so much that Helena decided to compose a song in her memory. One year later, to the day, La Porte Du Paradis was presented to the family in Linda's memory.

A lover of the planet and animals, Helena holds the well-being of animals and the environment dear to her heart.

It's during a singing performance by the multi-talented artist Véronique Dicaire that Helena felt even more so sensitive to the issue
, after watching a striking video regarding the global impact of pollution broadcasted during a song.

Dicaire's performance prompted her to wonder how she could, in turn, help raise awareness.

Helena made her debut on social media with the release of her very first French release, Que restera-t-il (What Will Be Left).

The lyrics earned her a place in the finals in the lyrics category at Quebec's En Scène songwriting competition in Drummondville.
